Geovisualizador de pesquisa em educação geográfica latino-americana (2000-2022): um sistema de consulta de artigos científicos livres e abertos

O aumento de artigos científicos em nível mundial, particularmente no campo da educação geográfica, tem sido constante ao longo do século XXI. Na América Latina, esse crescimento caracteriza-se por seguir um modelo de acesso aberto total conhecido como diamante. No entanto, acesso aberto total não é sinônimo de acessibilidade, pois localizar artigos científicos em educação geográfica na região é uma tarefa complexa, devido à dispersão das revistas na internet e à ausência de um sistema unificado e eficaz de consulta de artigos científicos na área. Assim, o presente artigo apresenta os resultados da criação de um geovisualizador e sistema de consulta da pesquisa em educação geográfica latino-americana do século XXI. O estudo descreve o processo de construção do geovisualizador, bem como o procedimento pelo qual é possível realizar consultas espaço-temporais cruzando informações de 2.335 artigos publicados entre os anos de 2000 e 2022, considerando como referência o ano de publicação, os temas de pesquisa e as palavras-chave, além do link direto para as revistas para consulta. Espera-se que o geovisualizador se torne uma ferramenta de difusão do conhecimento acadêmico sobre educação geográfica e um suporte aos processos de pesquisa na região.
